Terms of service

Welcome to KVI Jewellery. By shopping with me, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Don’t worry — I’ve kept things simple and straightforward because, as a one-person business, I value transparency and fairness.

Who I Am

I’m the sole owner of KVI Jewellery, running this small business since 2009. Every order is personally handled with care and attention. If you need to reach me for any reason, here’s how:

Placing an Order

When you place an order with me, here’s what you can expect:

  1. Order Confirmation:

    • Once your order is placed, I’ll send you a confirmation email with the details.

  2. Payment:

    • Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers. These providers have their own terms and privacy policies, and it’s your responsibility to review them.

  3. Shipping:

    • I ship via Royal Mail, and your delivery details will only be shared with them for this purpose.

    • Delivery times may vary depending on your location, but I’ll do my best to keep you updated.

Cancellations and Returns

I want you to love your jewellery. If something’s not right, here’s what we can do:

    • If you collect your piece of jewellery in person but subsequently change your mind we will offer to buy it back in the same condition subject to a re-stocking charge. If you buy a piece without first inspecting it you are covered by the UK ‘distance selling regulations’ which allow you to return the goods (in the same condition) within 14 days of receipt for a full no quibble refund.

    • Please contact me to arrange a return.

  3. Refunds:

    • Refunds will be processed once I receive the returned item. The cost of return shipping is your responsibility unless the item is faulty.

Custom Orders

I love creating custom jewellery! For custom pieces:

  • Design Agreement:

    • I’ll work closely with you to finalise the design before starting production.

  • Non-Refundable Deposit:

    • A deposit may be required, which is non-refundable once I’ve started working on your piece.

Your Responsibilities

By shopping with me, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information for your order (e.g., address, contact details).

  • Review the privacy policies of third-party payment providers if paying by card.

  • Handle and care for your jewellery as recommended to ensure its longevity.

Liability

As much as I aim for perfection, I’m only human! Here’s the legal bit:

  • I’m not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or incorrect delivery details provided by you.

  • My liability for any order is limited to the value of the item purchased.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If I do, I’ll post the changes on my website and let you know what’s new.
